To advance to the championship game, Duncan won 7-5 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-3 over Danielle Inglis (Etobicoke, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada;
 
Duncan finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) 10-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Jennifer Harvey (Cornwall, ON). Duncan responded with a 9-5 win over Binia Feltscher (Switzerland, SUI). Duncan won 6-3 against Amelie Blais (Levis, QC), then won 5-2 against Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Duncan take home 39.543 world rankings points along with the $7,400CDN prize, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 112.138 total points. Duncan ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.543 points earned so far this season.
