Joey Hart (Ajax, ON) lost 6-1 to John Willsey (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the OJCT U21 Championship Invitational, held April 27 - 29, 2018 at the Leaside Curling Club in Toronto, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hart won 7-2 over Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA) in the semifinals of the 2018 OJCT U21 Championship Invitational in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
Hart finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hart defeated Derek Bowden (Kingston, ON) 6-3, then won 7-6 against Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON). Hart went on to lose 6-4 against Willsey. Hart lost 11-3 to Stopera where Hart responded with a 6-5 win over Charlie Richard (Woodstock, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
. For week 38 of the event schedule, Hart did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hart ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
