Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) won 6-4 over Mackenzie Kiemele (Niagara Falls, ON) in the Final of the OJCT U21 Championship Invitational, held April 27 - 29, 2018 at the Leaside Curling Club in Toronto, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Sutherland won 7-5 over Breanna Rozon (Toronton, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 OJCT U21 Championship Invitational in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
 
Sutherland finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sutherland lost 7-3 to Emma Wallingford (Ottawa, ON), droppimg another game, 9-8 to Rachel Steele (Port Perry, ON) where Sutherland responded with a 9-0 win over Quinn Walsh (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Sutherland won 7-4 against Steele, then won 6-5 against Wallingford in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 38 of the event schedule, Sutherland did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sutherland ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
