Veronica Bernard (Richmond Hill, ON) lost 5-3 to Bella Croisier (Sudbury, ON) in the Final of the OJCT U18 Championship Invitational, held April 27 - 29, 2018 at the Leaside Curling Club in Toronto, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bernard won 8-5 over Emily Deschenes (Manotick, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 OJCT U18 Championship Invitational in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
 
Bernard finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated Dominique Vivier (Ottawa, ON) 8-5, then went on to lose 3-2 against Deschenes. Bernard responded with a 9-3 win over Paige Schneider (Brampton, ON). Bernard won 7-4 against Sophia Johnston (Toronto, ON). Bernard went on to lose 6-5 against Deschenes. Bernard responded with a 9-2 win over Johnston in their final qualifying round match.
