Mercer finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mercer defeated Melissa Majchrzak (Salt Lake City, UT) 13-3, then won 8-6 against Liana Knott (Dallas-Fort Worth, TX). Mercer went on to lose 7-5 against Katie Feldman (Roseville, CA). Mercer responded with a 9-4 win over Helen Bryce (Cedar Rapids, IA) in their final qualifying round match.
