David Markowski (Roseville, CA) run at the 2018 USA Arena National Men's Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Jeffrey Knott (Dallas-Fort Worth, TX). of the 2018 USA Arena National Men's Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah; Markowski advanced through the quarterfinals with a 9-5 win over Mark Robinson (Pittsburgh, PA).

Markowski finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Markowski defeated Mark Tolvstad (Aberdeen, SD) 7-4, then won 7-6 against Robinson and 8-4 against Guy Davis (Austin, TX). Markowski won 10-5 against Doug Owens (Kansas City, MO) in their final qualifying round match.
