To advance to the championship game, Slattery won 7-4 over Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC) in the semifinals of the 2018 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
Slattery finished 3-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Slattery lost 6-4 to Wark, then responded with a 5-4 win over Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN). Slattery won 8-3 against Nicole Backe (Vancouver Island, BC), then won 5-2 against Richards. Slattery went on to lose 9-8 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Kamloops Crown of Curling, Slattery take home 15.116 world rankings points along with the $2,650CDN prize, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 45.990 total points. Slattery ranks 88th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.372 points earned so far this season.
