To advance to the championship game, Walker/Leichter won 7-1 over Jamie Sinclair/Sean Beighton (Blaine, MN) in the semifinals of the 2018 MadTown DoubleDown presented by Leinenkugel's in McFarland, Wisconsin, United States; and won 7-3 over Vicky Persinger/Christopher Plys (Fairbanks, AK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 MadTown DoubleDown presented by Leinenkugel's in McFarland, Wisconsin, United States;

Walker/Leichter finished 3-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. .
