Howard lost 5-1 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) where Howard responded with a 8-2 win over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Howard earned 44.878 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1.
