Yoshimura finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Jenna Enge (Thunder Bay, NONT) 10-3, then won 6-4 against Lauren Horton (Waterloo, ON) and 4-3 against Duncan. Yoshimura won 8-2 against Annmarie Dubberstein (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, Yoshimura take home 32.821 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize.
