Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) run at the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-4 loss to Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN).  of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Thunder Bay, Ontario; Duncan advanced through the quarterfinals with a 10-7 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB).  of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Thunder Bay, Ontario; 
 
Duncan finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Jenna Enge (Thunder Bay, NONT) 7-5, then won 6-5 against Annmarie Dubberstein (Chaska, USA). Duncan went on to lose 4-3 against Yoshimura. Duncan responded with a 7-3 win over Lauren Horton (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Duncan earned 25.362 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 136.505 total points. Duncan ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 85.689 points earned so far this season.
