To advance to the championship game, Skaslien/Nedregotten won 5-4 over Anastasia Moskaleva/Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2018 WCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International in Tallinn, Estonia;
 
Skaslien/Nedregotten finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien/Nedregotten defeated Oona Kauste/Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) 8-6, then won 6-4 against Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) and 13-6 against Stephanie Wild/Thomas Kupper (Baden, SUI). Skaslien/Nedregotten won 8-7 against Marta Szeliga-Frynia/Pawel Frynia (Lodz, POL), then won 8-7 against Ieva Rudzite/Artis Zentelis (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
