Stirling/Kingan went on to lose 9-5 against Anna Venevtseva/Vasiliy Groshev (Krasnoyarsk, RUS). Stirling/Kingan responded with a 8-5 win over Fiona Wunderlich/Till Wunderlich (Oberstdorf, GER). Stirling/Kingan went on to lose 9-8 against Cynthia Gertsch/Cyril Gertsch (Duebendorf, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
