Stirling/Kingan finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stirling/Kingan defeated Maria Komarova/Daniil Goryachev (Moscow, RUS) 7-5, then won 7-4 against Bonnie Nilhamn/Paavo Kuosmanen (Zoetermeer, NED) and 11-4 against Liisa Turmann/Andres Jakobson (Tallinn, EST).
