Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) won 6-5 over Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) in the Final of the SaskTel Tankard, held February 6 - 10, 2019 in Whitewood, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Muyres won 7-6 over Ryan Deis (Fox Valley, SK) in the semifinals of the 2019 SaskTel Tankard in Whitewood, Saskatchewan;

Muyres finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muyres defeated Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) 9-2, then won 4-3 against Brock Virtue (Kerrobert, SK) and 6-5 against Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK). Muyres won 8-6 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the SaskTel Tankard Championship title, Muyres earned 23.288 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Muyres did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Muyres ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
