To advance to the championship game, Fesser won 8-3 over 's Rhonda Varnes in the semifinals of the Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Fesser finished 4-0 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fesser defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 7-1, then won 13-3 against Adele Kezama (Edmonton, AB) and 7-2 against Ashton Simard (Edmonton, AB). Fesser won 8-2 against 's Ocean Smart in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic Championship title, Fesser earned 18.945 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 71.879 total points.
