David Sik (Prague, CZE) qualified for the 2018 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). of the 2018 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Sik finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sik defeated Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI) 6-5, then won 7-5 against Alexander Baumann (Baden Baden, GER). Sik went on to lose 5-3 against Kim-Lloyd Sciboz (Lausanne, SUI). Sik lost 6-2 to Edin in their final qualifying round match.

Sik earned 17.567 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery. For week 10 of the event schedule, Sik did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
