David Sik (Prague, CZE) qualified for the 2018 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). of the 2018 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Sik finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sik defeated Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI) 6-5, then won 7-5 against Alexander Baumann (Baden Baden, GER). Sik went on to lose 5-3 against Kim-Lloyd Sciboz (Lausanne, SUI). Sik lost 6-2 to Edin in their final qualifying round match.
