Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) won 6-5 over Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in the Final of the Curling Masters Champery, held October 18 - 21, 2018 in Champery, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, De Cruz won 8-6 over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in the semifinals of the 2018 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland; and won 8-2 over Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in the quarterfinals.
 
De Cruz finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, De Cruz defeated Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) 12-4, then won 12-2 against Switzerland's Bochatay and 7-1 against Tomi Rantamaki (Hyvinkaa, FIN). De Cruz won 6-3 against Retornaz in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Masters Champery Championship title, De Cruz earned 43.917 world rankings points along with the $18,433CDN first prize cheque. De Cruz move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 16.628 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 8th overall with 347.755 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
