Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) qualified for the 2018 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2018 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Pfister finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister lost 8-7 to van Dorp, then responded with a 10-5 win over Switzerland's Raphael Moix. Pfister won 6-4 against Eddy Mercier (Lyon, FRA), then won 6-4 against Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Pfister earned 17.567 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery. Pfister move up 17 spots after posting a net gain of 13.524 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 73rd overall with 55.193 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Pfister ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.854 points earned so far this season.
