In their opening game, Aitken/Andrews lost 7-6 to Fay Henderson/James Craik (Aberdeen, SCO), droppimg another game, 10-3 to Dorottya Palancsa/Zsolt Kiss (Budapest, HUN) where Aitken/Andrews responded with a 8-4 win over Vicky Wright/Craig Waddell (Stirling, SCO). Aitken/Andrews went on to lose 7-6 against Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE). Aitken/Andrews responded with a 12-4 win over Camilla Noreen/Per Noreen (Gavle, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
