Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) won 5-4 over Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) in the Final of the Braehead Junior Invitational, held November 2 - 4, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 6-2 over Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2018 Braehead Junior Invitational in Glasgow, Scotland; and won 9-4 over Blair Haswell (Stranraer, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Whyte finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Haswell 7-1, then won 7-4 against Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) and 8-2 against Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE). Whyte won 5-0 against Braenden in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 12 of the event schedule, Whyte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Whyte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
