Blair Haswell (Stranraer, SCO) qualified for the 2018 Braehead Junior Invitational playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-4 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO).
 
Haswell finished 1-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Haswell lost 7-1 to Whyte, droppimg another game, 6-3 to Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR). Haswell lost 6-1 to Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) where Haswell responded with a 8-5 win over Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
