To advance to the championship game, Joo won 6-5 over Julie Zelingrova (Prague, CZE) in the semifinals of the 2018 EJCT Prague Junior Womens Cup in Prague, Czech Republic; and won 9-0 over Victoria Sitkiewicz (Sopot, POL) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 EJCT Prague Junior Womens Cup in Prague, Czech Republic;
 
Joo finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joo defeated Michella Alvera (Trentino, ITA) 5-4, then went on to lose 5-2 against Zelingrova. Joo responded with a 7-4 win over Kristina Podrabska (Prague, CZE). Joo went on to lose 7-2 against Patricia Ruiz (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.
