Alastair Brown (Perth, AUS) finished 2-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Ben Lyons (Melbourne, AUS) 12-2, then went on to lose 8-7 against Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS). Brown lost 6-4 to Wyatt Buck (Perth, AUS) where Brown responded with a 6-5 win over Max Thomas (Brisbane, AUS). Brown went on to lose 11-2 against Millikin in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 1.406 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 368 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 368th place overall with 1.406 total points. Brown ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.406 points earned so far this season.
