Retornaz went on to lose 10-6 against Mikhail Vaskov (Dmitrov, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

Retornaz earned 36.216 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships. Retornaz move up 28 spots after posting a net gain of 33.852 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 47th overall with 88.275 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
