Vaskov lost 7-5 to Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR) where Vaskov responded with a 10-6 win over Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Vaskov earned 9.587 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 65 spots the World Ranking Standings into 169th place overall with 19.042 total points. Vaskov ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.042 points earned so far this season.
