Aiden Poole (Chatham, ON) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Poole lost 9-5 to Switzerland's Gaetan Mancini, then responded with a 7-4 win over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Poole won 8-2 against Thomas Lo (Montreal, QC). Poole went on to lose 7-6 against Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NB). Poole lost 9-5 to Sam Mooibroek (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
