Thea Coburn (Dundas, ON) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Coburn lost 6-2 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 8-5 win over Raphaela Keiser (Flims-St.Gallen, SUI). Coburn won 5-3 against Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB). Coburn went on to lose 8-5 against Switzerland's Selina Witschonke. Coburn lost 6-5 to Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
