Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON) qualified for the KW U21 Mens Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Joey Hart (Ajax, ON). of the KW U21 Mens Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
 
Steep finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Steep defeated Trevor Kirby (London, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-1 against Eric Fenech (Toronto, ON). Steep lost 3-2 to Hang Qu (Harbin, CHN) where Steep responded with a 8-6 win over Chase Sinnett (Chaska, USA). Steep won 5-4 against Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 12 of the event schedule, Steep did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Steep ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
