Andrew McDonald (Midland, MI) finished 1-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald lost 8-6 to Sam Mooibroek (Toronto, ON), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Ze Zhong Zhang (Changchun, CHN) where McDonald responded with a 8-3 win over Aiden Poole (Chatham, ON). McDonald went on to lose 5-2 against Joey Hart (Ajax, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
