Sophia Johnston (Toronto, ON) lost 8-5 to Adrienne Belliveau (Manotick, ON) in the Final of the KW U18 Womens Classic, held November 2 - 4, 2018 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Johnston won 8-0 over Aubrey Kropf (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the KW U18 Womens Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 7-6 over Kyra Woodend (London, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the KW U18 Womens Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
 
Johnston finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnston defeated McKenna McGovern (Forest, ON) 7-3, then won 8-5 against Lauren MacKay (Ottawa, ON) and 6-5 against Jacklyn Fraser (Markdale, ON). Johnston went on to lose 1-0 against Kropf. Johnston lost 10-6 to Charlotte Johnston (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 12 of the event schedule, Johnston did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Johnston ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
