Jocelyn Peterman/Brett Gallant (Winnipeg, CAN) won 7-5 over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, CAN) in the Final of the Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic, held August 31 - September 3, 2018 at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Peterman/Gallant won 10-3 over Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2018 Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 9-2 over Breanne Knapp/Kelly Knapp (Regina, CAN) in the quarterfinals.
 
Peterman/Gallant finished 3-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Renee Michaud/Trevor Johnson (Regina, SK) 8-3, then won 6-5 against Knapp/Knapp and 6-3 against Kelsey Waker/Carl deConinck Smith (Gull Lake , SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Peterman/Gallant earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 3 of the event schedule, Peterman/Gallant did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Peterman/Gallant ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
