Brandt/LaMontagne lost 6-5 to Kelsey Waker/Carl deConinck Smith (Gull Lake , SK) where Brandt/LaMontagne responded with a 7-4 win over Michelle Lang/Mark Lang (Saskatoon, SK). Brandt/LaMontagne went on to lose 9-1 against Saskatchewan's Emma Wiens/Nathen Pomedli in their final qualifying round match.
