Schwartz finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwartz lost 5-3 to Kristen Streifel (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 7-4 win over Nancy Martin (Regina, SK). Schwartz went on to lose 11-8 against Kelsey Waker (Gull Lake , SK). Schwartz responded with a 8-7 win over Madison Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Schwartz went on to lose 9-2 against Skaslien in their final qualifying round match.
