In their opening game, Hegner defeated Maggie Wilson (Stirlign, SCO) 9-0, then won 7-4 against Maia Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR) and 7-6 against Aline Fellmann (Schaffhausen, SUI). Hegner won 4-3 against Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO), then won 5-4 against Jentsch in their final qualifying round match.
