Brydone finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brydone lost 8-5 to Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI), then responded with a 8-2 win over Jop Kuijpers (Zoetermeer, NED). Brydone won 6-4 against Cameron McNay (Dumfries, SCO). Brydone went on to lose 7-6 against Cameron Bryce (Skelleftea, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brydone earned 10.114 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Dumfries Challenger Series. Brydone move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 3.239 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 68th overall with 65.655 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Brydone ranks 83rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.154 points earned so far this season.
