Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) qualified for the 2018 Dumfries Challenger Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Robin Brydone (Perth, SCO). of the 2018 Dumfries Challenger Series in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada;
