Tanner Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) won 10-5 over Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the KKP Classic, held September 28 - 30, 2018 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Lott won 10-3 over Jordan Smith (Winnipeg , MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Lott finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lott lost 8-4 to Smith, then responded with a 5-3 win over Ty Dilello (Winnipeg, MB). Lott won 8-5 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-2 against Andrew Wickman (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KKP Classic Championship title, Lott earned 27.349 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 24th place overall with 152.435 total points. Lott ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 57.949 points earned so far this season.
