Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Auld lost 9-8 to Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON), then responded with a 9-4 win over Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Auld went on to lose 8-4 against Lauren Horton (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Auld responded with a 7-5 win over Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON). Auld went on to lose 9-2 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Auld lost 11-1 to Jacqueline Harrison (Ottawa, ON) where Auld responded with a 8-5 win over Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Auld earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Auld did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Auld ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
