Janelle Vachon (Stonewall, MB) run at the 2018 MCT Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-1 loss to Alyssa Calvert (Brandon, MB).

Vachon finished 3-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vachon lost 8-4 to Laura Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). Vachon won 14-5 against Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-5 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
