Marshall finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marshall defeated Bryan Yamada (Kamloops, BC) 8-4, then won 9-2 against British Columbia's Preston Ballard and 6-5 against Dawson Ballard (Coquitlam, BC). Marshall went on to lose 7-2 against Erik Colwell (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
