In their opening game, Kim lost 8-6 to Nina Roth (Chaska, USA), droppimg another game, 12-0 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Kim lost 11-1 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Kim lost 8-5 to Roth where Kim responded with a 8-2 win over Homan. Kim went on to lose 10-1 against Sidorova in their final qualifying round match.
