Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) finished 2-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu lost 6-3 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE), then responded with a 7-4 win over Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, SCO).
