Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) finished 2-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu lost 6-3 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE), then responded with a 7-4 win over Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, SCO). Liu went on to lose 7-2 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Liu lost 9-2 to Hasselborg. Liu lost 10-1 to Dodds where Liu responded with a 5-4 win over Fujisawa in their final qualifying round match.

Liu earned 6.089 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 97th place overall with 25.607 total points. Liu ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.089 points earned so far this season.
