To advance to the championship game, Kelly won 8-3 over Cathlia Ward (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals
 
Kelly finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Judy Ross (Fredericton, NB) 12-1, then won 8-4 against Quillian and 9-0 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Steele Cup Cash Championship title, Kelly earned 13.271 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 73rd place overall with 49.918 total points. Kelly ranks 91st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.271 points earned so far this season.
