Hilliard responded with a 6-4 win over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The Curling Store Cashspiel Championship title, Hilliard earned 19.095 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque, moving up 115 spots the World Ranking Standings into 124th place overall with 19.783 total points.
