Zang responded with a 4-2 win over Charlie Richard (London, ON). Zang won 7-3 against O'Driscoll in their final qualifying round match.
 
Zang earned 12.186 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the NISSAN Curling Classic. Zang move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 7.32 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 33rd overall with 117.697 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Zang ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 93.369 points earned so far this season.
