Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) lost 6-3 to Glenn Howard (Penetanguishe, ON) in the Final of the NISSAN Curling Classic, held November 30 - December 2, 2018 at the Paris Curling Club in Paris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Horgan won 5-2 over John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 NISSAN Curling Classic in Paris, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-2 over Jia Liang Zang (Harbin, CHN) in the quarterfinals.
 
Horgan finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Sam Mooibroek (Ottawa, ON) 1-0, then won 1-0 against Dayna Deruelle (Harriston, ON) and 8-5 against Frank O'Driscoll (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the NISSAN Curling Classic, Horgan take home 22.341 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize. For week 16 of the event schedule, Horgan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Horgan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
