Vicky Persinger/Christopher Plys (Fairbanks, AK) won 8-4 over Tabitha Peterson/Joe Polo (Bemidji, MN) in the Final of the Twin Ports Mixed Doubles Classic, held November 23 - 25, 2018 at the Duluth Curling Club in Duluth, United States. To advance to the championship game, Persinger/Plys won 8-7 over Cory Christensen/John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals   of the 2018 Twin Ports Mixed Doubles Classic in Duluth, Minnesota, United States; and won 7-4 over Monica Walker/Alex Leichter (Boston, MA) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2018 Twin Ports Mixed Doubles Classic in Duluth, Minnesota, United States; 
 
Persinger/Plys finished 3-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Persinger/Plys defeated Kirstin McKeown/Gabriel Nickel (Blaine, MN) 8-4, then won 10-4 against Em Good/MacAllan Guy (Seattle, WA). Persinger/Plys went on to lose 10-7 against Walker/Leichter. Persinger/Plys responded with a 4-1 win over Taylor Drees/Joe Heiden (Mankato, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 15 of the event schedule, Persinger/Plys did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Persinger/Plys ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
