Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick;

McEvoy responded with a 5-3 win over Veronica Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). McEvoy won 5-4 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
